Also, when i re-read my answer i realised it sounded wrong, i don’t ship stelena just because i see their love clearly, i ship stelena for so many reasons but the point is they are my tvd otp and some people don’t think your favourite character can be damon and then you ship stelena, but for me stefan&elena are love, they always will be, they are selfless and pure and tragic. Honestly if they aren’t endgame it will just add to their tragedy (though i hope they are) but i get what you mean, most people don’t think you can 100% support and love damon and not be delena, but i do. I love damon and my heart kills me with his love for katherine and then elena, its really sad and it kills me when hes upset but that doesn’t mean i’m going to ship delena, just to make damon happy, because IN MY OPINION thats not a good reason to be a couple, its not real to me.
